Why?

Sinjin Beach was founded in 2017 to "change the game" of beach volleyball in the Carolinas. Sinjin Beach's founders felt that there was a real need to set a higher standard for beach volleyball in North Carolina, especially as more and more collegiate programs are adding beach volleyball to their list of NCAA sports.

When starting a juniors club, Greg and Steve went through a number of different possibilities for naming the club. Since Greg was already working closely with Sinjin Smith, he wanted to involve him in the club. Rather than just involve Sinjin in the new brand, the decision was made to completely make Sinjin the brand. Thus, Sinjin Beach Volleyball Club was born.
